- The Terms of Use
- The Rules & Policies
- Forum Moderation

- Responses from Flight Rising Support tickets
- Volunteer Moderators
- Employees/staff
The only avenue for the above types of feedback, suggestions, or complaints is through Contact Us, and Contact Us only.(Updated May 26, 2022)
Why only through Contact Us?
Flight Rising is a game and our website is a space for players to relax and enjoy. For Flight Rising employees (also known as 'team members'), the website is their virtual workspace or office.
What does “virtual workspace or office” mean?
It means our website is the place where our employees work, perform their job duties, and make their living.
Just like how your boss in a brick and mortar store or office should do, Stormlight Workshop, LLC has the legal and moral obligation to ensure that their employees are able to be present on and engage with the Flight Rising website free from harassment or targeting.
What do we consider harassment or targeting?
Beyond what would fall under personal attacks as laid out in our Rules & Policies, we also consider the following to have the potential for harassment or targeting of our employees. This includes but is not limited to:
- Naming a team member in a thread title, positively or negatively.
- Openly posting complaints or accusations about any Flight Rising team members for any reason.
-
Accusations of laziness, malice, or of intent to harm, neglect, or otherwise engage in predatory business practices towards our community in the guise of “feedback” because: (2025-12-16)
- An update addressed one type of accessibility fix and not a different one.
- A regular content update contains content acquired through gems.
- A dragon breed is released that is acquired through gems.
- A gem bonus promotion is run and calls attention to the Gem Purchase page.
- Disagreement on what is or isn’t working as intended.
- Forum moderation under our Terms of Use and Rules & Policies occurred.
While we understand the first point can and has been done before in a well-intentioned and good humored way, these posts can lead to an employee feeling targeted or, as a thread grows or more players join in, even lead to players taking things too far. It is for this reason that we ask our community members to please refrain from naming our employees in thread titles for any reason. (May 26, 2022)
Accusations of laziness, malice, or of intent to harm, neglect, or otherwise engage in predatory business practices towards our community in response to regular content updates, progress updates on an ongoing project that didn’t cover a preferred issue, new gem-acquired content, etc are prohibited because they do not constitute constructive feedback and constructive criticism. These types of comments may — intentionally or otherwise — inflame or panic the community, foster distrust, and otherwise disrupt the site. (2025-12-16)
We understand that for some players this policy may feel like they do not have recourse in the event an individual employee acts with malice towards a player or the community, especially if they’ve experienced this type of behavior elsewhere. This is not about blocking valid constructive critique (positive or negative) or silencing someone calling attention to active harm or abuse of power. Speculation of intent and accusations of malice in response to standard content updates, promotions, moderation, or disagreement with a decision is the focus of this policy. (2025-12-16)
In the event that a player does have constructive critique, feedback, or concerns about employee or team conduct, please see this section here for information on how to contact us. (2025-12-16)
What about policy or rules questions?
Use of the Flight Rising website constitutes agreement to our Terms of Use and Rules & Policies. In order for us to maintain the site and ensure a positive experience for all players, we do not allow discussions, complaints, or suggestions about our Terms of Use or Rules & Policies in our forums or as comments in forum signatures, clan broadcasts, clan profiles, dragon broadcasts, or dragon biographies.
If I can’t post complaints or feedback about team members or rules or policies, where can I?
Please send any and all feedback directly to the Flight Rising team through Contact Us. We understand not everyone will agree with our rules or policies, but as previously stated:
Stormlight Workshop, LLC has the obligation to ensure that their employees are able to be present on and engage with the Flight Rising website free from harassment or targeting.
This includes commentary, discussion, or posts about our Terms of Use, Rules & Policies, or employees.
Tickets submitted through Contact Us are logged and reviewable by ownership. All employee interactions on the site and our Helpdesk are logged on the backend and reviewable by company leadership. These logs are audited at ownerships’ discretion and without prior notification or warning to the employee. (2025-12-16)
